Kanye West may be going up against Jay-Z to create his own music streaming service.

Kanye West is now adding another endeavour to his already successful resume. New reports from The Blast suggest the rapper is set to launch a music streaming platform called Yeezy Sounds.

The publication got its hands on documents that show Kanye going forward with trademarking the name, with purposes that include “streaming of music, audio, images, video and other multimedia content over the internet.”

Whether we'll be able to sign up for this upcoming platform anytime soon is still unclear, as the whole process is still in the beginning stages.

Jay-Z and Kanye have some beef stemming back to the release of Yeezy's Life of Pablo where he still claims that Jay has not paid him the proper amount of royalties from Jay's streaming service, Tidal. The Blast reports that the funds add up to $3.5 million.

When Jay released his critically acclaimed album 4:44 he cited Kanye on the track "Kill Jay Z" bringing up the royalty feud. He also referenced the time Kanye went on a long rant at one of his shows, targeting Jay and Beyonce for not reaching out after Kim Kardashian's Paris robbery.

"I know people backstab you, I feel bad too / But this 'f*ck everybody' attitude ain't natural / But you ain't the same, this ain't KumbaYe / But you got hurt because you did cool by 'Ye / You gave him 20 million without blinkin' / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f*ck was he thinkin'?/"

Jay followed up with his lyrics saying that the track wasn't really about Yeezy, even if his name and the feud is clearly cited.

"His name is there, just because it's just the truth of what happened. But the whole point is 'You got hurt because this person was talking about you on a stage.' But what really hurt me was, you can't bring my kids and my wife into it," Jay-Z said in an interview with the Rap Radar Podcast. "Kanye's my little brother. He's talked about me 100 times. He made a song called 'Big Brother.' We've gotten past bigger issues. But you brought my family into it, now it's a problem with me. That's a real, real problem. And he knows it's a problem."

He added: "He knows that he crossed the line. I know him. He knows. I know he knows, because we've never let this much space go between one of our disagreements, and we've had many, because that's who we are.
