The actor is definitely interested in reviving the hit comedy show.
The Office has become one of the most beloved sitcoms in recent memory, having amassed a wide viewership and inspiring many rampant Internet memes in the process. Its untimely demise has left many hoping that the NBC will revive the series and give fans the zany antics and unforgettable scenarios they so crave.
John Krasinski, who stared as Jim Halpert, has recently added more fuel to the rampant hype surrounding the show's return to primetime television. The actor took to the Ellen DeGeneres Show last month to proclaim that he is definitely interesting in making another season of the hit show.
In a new interview, Krasinski details how he envisions the show could make its return to the small screen, admitting that "I would love to play with those guys again and do something. It really comes down to the idea… the original British show, the best thing was they had a Christmas episode -- it was a one-off. I would love to do that. I think it would be a sort of ‘Where Are They Now’ kind of thing. That would be really fun."
However, Krasinski admits that he still has "yet to get a call. I am surprised that after Ellen and all that -- I haven’t gotten a call, so I haven’t heard anything about it, other than on the internet -- the internet is making the show." He jokingly reveals how "Twitter is shooting The Office reboot. I don’t know if any of us are going to be a part of it!”
