A highlight off the duo's Def Jam debut "Big Bossin' Vol. 2."

Two years after Big Bossin' Vol. 1, one of 2016's quiet triumphs, Payroll Giovanni and Cardo have reunited and shared the sequel, Big Bossin Vol. 2, through Def Jam Records. With major label backing, the project captures the unique energy of the original, while going a little bigger on certain elements. "Dopeman Dreams" comes complete with a Jeezy feature, who crashes the hazy track with his signature rasp. Payroll's group Doughboyz Cashout was previously signed to Jeezy's CTE imprint, so the chemistry is already there. The sundrenched instrumental, which features a slithering bassline and some 808 cowbells (two things Cardo always does well) is universal enough for the Detroit and Atlanta rappers to both sound immediately comfortable.

The 16 track project also features guest appearances from E-40, Yhung To, Big Quis, Doughboy Roc, Jade Jones, Cashout Calhoun, Overlord Scooch, and more. You can stream it in full here.

Quotable Lyrics:
When a deal ain't work
I said 'fuck rap'
Then I thought about how far I came
And said 'fuck that'
It's either this or I'mma pump packs
Front crack and cut no slack
Way ahead of n***as
Your future to me a throwback
