Jay Rock just dropped his new project "Redemption" but he's ready to release a new project before the end of 2018.

At the top of the summer, Jay Rock released his project, Redemption to critical reception. Although he's getting ready to hit the road this fall, he said that he's ready to drop another project before the end of the year.

Jay Rock sat down with Rap-Up TV during adidas' Destination San Diego music experience earlier in August. The rapper revealed that he's ready to hop back into the studio and get something new to the fans in the coming months.

“I’ve been thinking about that every day,” he said. “I’m ready to get back in [the studio]. Ever since the big reviews on Redemption, I’m ready to go back in and just come with another project right now before the year is up. Hopefully, man, y’all might get that.”

Jay Rock also spoke on witnessing the progression of Top Dawg Entertainment over the past few years.

"It feels good to be part of something that I helped started, especially from the ground up," he said. "We all grew together, man. We started off as kids. We all grew together and that's what's dope. At the end of the day, we ain't friends, we all family. That's before anything."
