The entertainer shares her progressive views.
Jada Pinkett Smith has turned into a kind of wise auntie on social media, thanks to her inspirational content. She often posts about real issues that affect regular people, making her a most relatable celebrity.
Yesterday, she came through with a reflection on marriage. In her opinion, this type of relationship is bound to evolve as both of its parties grow.
"I’ve been watching a lot marriages dissolve around me. It’s been really painful. Marriages change."
Her advice lies in rolling with the punches. Rather than resisting change, she asks people to embrace the evolution even it does ultimately end in a breakup.
"Sometimes they need to be reimagined and transformed. Sometimes they are simply over ... but either way, I pray that folks going thru this painful transition find the patience and the love within to not throw the “babies” out with the bath water. #family."
The actress' credibility is definitely aided by her seemingly wonderful relationship with her husband Will Smith. The couple just celebrated a significant milestone in their marriage, having spent close to half of their lives together thus far. Pinkett seems to want this same kind of lasting joy within a romantic relationship for her following as well.
