As we speak, J. Cole's Dreamville team assembled some of the most talented names in the game, united for a single purpose: to craft Revenge Of The Dreamers 3, a compilation album due to arrive later this year. While the existing roster will surely be present and accounted for, a variety of external artists and affiliates have been called upon, joining the label in Atlanta; as of now, over seventy artists and personalities have been issued invitations. As it happens, one such rapper was Griselda capo Westside Gunn, who made sure to bring his affiliate Benny to the endeavor.
Gunn took to Instagram to share a photograph of Cole and Benny, making sure to add a hype-stoking caption. "I took this Picture for the CULTURE I told Cole “u lookin at Top 5 lyricist in the Game," he writes, endorsing the young Griselda spitter with some hefty praise. "btw BENNY killed his Verse." Though we suspected that Gunn would be getting a verse, it's good news to see that Benny will be given his time to shine; there's no word whether or not Conway came through, but there's little doubt that Griselda was represented to the fullest.
This isn't the first time that Westside and Cole linked up. The pair previously connected for a flick back in August, perhaps cultivating a friendship then and there. Look for more coverage from the Revenge Of The Dreamers sessions to come in the near future.
