Gucci Mane's "Mr. Davis" will take us back to the "Woptober" days.

As Gucci Mane fans know, his second album of the year Mr. Davis was set to drop tomorrow, on September 15th. Unfortunately, we might have to wait a little bit longer than anticipated. It has recently been announced that the followup to Gucci Mane's stellar Droptopwop will be arriving on Friday, October 13th instead. Perhaps the rapper is looking to recapture that Woptober vibe, or perhaps he simply wants to let his new Weeknd assisted single "Curve" have a longer lifespan.

While the news is somewhat disappointing, fans still have his upcoming autobiography to look forward to. The book, titled The Autobiography Of Gucci Mane, is still slated for release on Tuesday, September 19th. While it's not exactly the same as an album, the auiobiography should be a rewarding experience for Gucci fans, as it promises to hold nothing back. Having read the prologue, it seems like the book will explore the violence, paranoia, and creativity of a pre-prison Gucci Mane in detail.

As it currently stands, Gucci's new album will be released a few days before his upcoming wedding with Keyshia Ka'oir. The wedding, dubbed by BET as The Mane Event, is set to take place on October 17th. The ceremony will be broadcast live on BET, and it promises to be a lavish and diamond-studded affair.

While you wait, catch up on some of the latest Gucci news. The rapper recently sat down for an interview with best-selling author (and personal favorite of Guwop) Malcolm Gladwell. Together, the pair discussed music, his five favorite songs, and Gucci's opinion on the most talented young rapper. If that's not your thing, check out the tracklist to Mr. Davis below:
