Future takes a break from his Hndrxx World Tour to spend some time with his family. His last performance was on October 1st in Brisbane, Australia and today (October 10th) the rapper will be taking the stage in Trondheim, Norway.
In between his showtimes, Future rounded up some of his blood, including Baby Future and daughter London, for a family filled visit to one of the happiest places on earth, Disneyland. His homie Jus Bleezy was even in attendance. Watch the video of Future getting his son all pumped up for a carousel ride below.
In Future's recent Highsnobiety feature, the 33-year-old rapper details the importance of staying true to your sound of rap and not trying to sound like others in the game.
"Being yourself [musically] is the most important thing because if you think your shit ain’t working and stop trying and then somebody else tries it and it starts working for them, you’re going to be mad." He said "Some people try to be everybody, so that’s why they burn out. There’s longevity in being yourself and not trying to be 10 other people."
He further explains just how fast and ongoing the sound of music is evolving, adding that he's only in the studio and keeping an ear to the radio for what's current. "I’m always making music. I feel like that’s the key. Music will change in just three months, so if I go to Europe for a whole three months and come back, the music scene will be completely different. I just try to stay in tune with what’s going on: I keep my eyes open for the new artists, listen to new melodies on the radio; pay attention to the tempos playing in the clubs," he said.
Future has teamed up with Tory Lanez on the track "Real Thing" that will drop this Friday the 13th. It's unclear if the song will be off Tory's upcoming album Memories Don’t Die. As we hold tight for the song drop, peep the Top 35 Future songs we compiled here.
