In case you're unfamiliar, Trash Talk is California hardcore band, known for their intense live shows and abrasive, minute-long punk anthems. Their connection to rap comes through a friendship and eventual signing with Odd Future. The band are also huge hip hop fans, and have hosted Tyler and Hodgy on their records.
Here, they team up with Flatbush Zombies for a notably less heavy collaboration. Guitarist Garrett Stevenson produces, while the rest of the band provide instrumental work on the fairly straight-ahead rap beat. Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice, and Erick "Arc" Elliott work their magic as always.
The collaboration, titled "97.92", will appear on the upcoming Converse-sponsored compilation, CONS EP VOL. 1, which is coming soon.
