After the successes of DC’s ongoing tv series, the entertainment company now reveals one of the heroes from their upcoming Titans show. Brenton Thwaites suits up as Robin, Batman’s age-old partner and leader of the Titans. Thwaites’ previous credits include Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Gods of Egypt and Maleficent.

Based on the superhero cartoon series Teen Titans, this new series will follow a group of heroes lead by Thwaites’ Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven amongst others. The show comes to us from Akiva Goldman, Sarah Schechter, and DC Entertainment President and CCO, Geoff Johns. Judging from the costume design and staff, fans are speculating the show will portray a classic iteration of Robin that they’re familiar with.

Titans joins DC’s widely popular Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. Expect to see it in 2018 on DC’s upcoming digital service platform.
