Rihanna and Chris Brown have had a very public relationship, filled with extreme ups and downs. Since Brown's assault on Rihanna in 2009, things obviously cooled down between the two pop stars. However, after Chris Brown's (yet again public) break-up with Karrueche Tran, his relationship with Rihanna has come to the forefront once more.
It seems as though the two are once again together, from appearing at The Grammys together to celebrating Rih Rih's 25th birthday in Hawaii, many a picture has surfaced of the two looking very close. While there is no doubt that everyone has an opinion of the two together, the couple themselves aren't hearing a word of it. Although it's easy for outsiders to judge the relationship, Breezy says in a new interview with the Mirror that it took some serious making-up to get back in Rihanna's good graces.
The r'n'b singer said of the infamous night in '09, "Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals. That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake." He continued, "But she loves me – what can I say? I’m forgiven… but, yes, I worked hard for it."
Breezy continued with words for those who judge and criticize him, "People attack me and criticize me, it happens all the time. But they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me any more."
