C Tha God is doing what he can to maintain his reputation.

Charlamagne Tha God's sexual assault accuser from more than 17 years ago is now looking for "closure" even after The Breakfast Club host was cleared from the case and took a DNA test that didn't produce evidence that he came in contact with the girl.

According to TMZ, Charlamagne cooperated with the claims when they first arose and he did plead guilty to contributing to the delinquency of minors since underage kids were drinking alcohol at a party he threw, the accuser included. According to the publication, Charlamagne (born Lenard McKelvey) thinks the rested case is only coming to light to ruin his reputation.

"More than seventeen years ago, Charlamagne was accused of a sexual assault. He never had sexual relations or any physical contact with the accuser and even provided DNA to prove it," his attorney, Marty Singer, says. "At the time of these claims, Charlamagne cooperated fully with authorities, and after the investigation, this charge against him was dropped. Charlamagne has spoken about this many times over the years in public, including in his book. While Charlamagne has empathy for all sexual assault victims, he cannot take responsibility for a crime he did not commit.”

Charlamagne is said to be considering his legal options and will do what he can to protect his name.
