For many artists, it's a dream to be nominated for a Grammy award. While some appear to be nonchalant about the entire ordeal, it's a huge honor for others. A Grammy award is one of the highest forms of recognition you can achieve in music. The nominations were announced this morning for the upcoming 2019 ceremony and artists like Kendrick Lamar and Cardi B are being highly celebrated this time around. However, Bardi was a little late in finding out about her role in the show. The superstar was in court this morning for her strip club assault case and while she made her way out, she was informed by a paparazzo that she had earned five nominations at the upcoming awards show.
Her album Invasion of Privacy helped her nab five nominations for the upcoming ceremony and while her haters are up in arms, she was sticking her tongue out at them from the courthouse. A photographer asked her while she was walking out, "How do you feel about your nominations at the Grammys?" She was surprised to hear that she was even nominated, uttering, "I am? How many nominations?"
The star likely wasn't allowed to be on her phone in court so she was unaware of the honor until afterwards. As she walked out, she flaunted her fresh rainbow hair, which she debuted earlier in the week. How many of the five noms do you think Cardi will win?
