Slim Shady had Billie Eilish checking under her bed.

At this point, Billie Eilish has become enough of a pop culture phenomenon to elicit interest in her hip-hop opinion, though her music doesn't exactly fit within the genre. Still, Eilish remains a vocal rap fan, having brought the talented Denzel Curry and EarthGang with her on tour, thus strengthening her credibility as a tastemaker for the youth. Now, a new interview has Eilish fielding no shortage of questions, including one that pits the seemingly unrelated trifecta of Drake, Eminem, and Childish Gambino against one another in a quest for approval.

Without hesitation, Eilish picks Gambino by "one billion percent," likening him to an actual God.  "I was scared of Eminem my whole life," she reveals. "Terrified That dude freaked the fuck out of me. Oh my god. But you know, Childish Gambino created me dude. I don't even know, that's crazy, that's a god you can't even put him in a list of other people." As for Drizzy, no words. Perhaps Relapse truly left a lasting impression on young Eilish.

A similar situation puts Jay-Z, Biggie, and 2Pac in the mix, with Eilish championing for the Notorious one. "Honestly Biggie," she says. "I feel like 2Pac's vibe is cooler. Biggie's voice just feels like a big heavy warm blanket on you, which is probably what it feels like if he laid on top of you." Maybe. Well, should you be interested in the rationale behind her decisions, check out the full video below.
