Big KRIT has been relatively quiet for the most part of 2017. In fact, with exception to his latest feature on Dizzy Wright’s “Outrageous” collab last month & a random song with B.o.B earlier in the year, the last time the Mississippi rapper impacted our site was almost a year ago with the song “Free Agent,” where he announced that he was once again an independent artist.

Back in August, we got whispers of K.R.I.T. working on new music when he was spotted with 8 Ball & MJG in the studio, but nothing ever came of it since then. While leaving us in the dark both musically and on social media for the most part of the year, Krizzle decided to change all that earlier this week by sending out a cryptic tweet & IG post alluding that new music is finally on the way, and it looks like we were right. At the stroke of midnight, Krit released a new song on iTunes called “Confetti,” which appears to the be the acronym “TTI” that he has been teasing us all week long with. He actually also shared “CON” & “FE” respectively backwards on IG, spelling out the song title “Confetti.”

Touching on social & political issues, listen as Krizzle spits that real over some gospel & piano-driven production and let us know what you think! Record available now on iTunes

Hopefully this is indication that a new project is on the way, but if not, Big K.R.I.T. is supposed to be dropping a new project with Curren$y at some point this year called Lacs N Chevys, or at least that's what the New Orleans spitta told us earlier this year. So keep your eyes peeled on that as well. More Krizzle on the way.

Quotable Lyrics:

Nah, your confetti ain't even heavy
Niggas is fucking up the game
That shit so suspicious
You ain't buy it all unless you blew a ticket
All up in the VIP, but you ain't fuck them bitches
I'mma ball all summer just to flex for Christmas
Angel wings on the doors, I gotta suplex it
Money don't make you fly, that's just my perspective
