Beyonce drops "Freedom" video in honor of International Day Of Girl.

We haven't really heard much from Beyonce on a music front this year. Of course, that's due to her pregnancy and the fact that she's Beyonce and she doesn't really need to drop music in order maintain relevancy. However, the release last year's Lemonade is still strong enough that people are continuing to bump it and love it to the same extent as they did at the time of it's release. While a few weeks back, she released the remix to "Mi Gente" with J Balvin and Willy Williams. Today, she brings more life to the Lemonade stand-out track "Freedom" with a new visual to coincide with International Day of Girl.

Beyonce's latest video for "Freedom" was produced by Beyoncé and Salma Hayek’s Chime for Change initiative and The Global Goals. Together, they've created a video to raise awareness to issues surrounding young girls across the globe. The video features numerous girls from around the world lip syncing and dancing to her song. She delivers shocking statistics overtop the footage throughout the video. Some of the statistics include that every five minutes, a girl dies because of violence, 71 per cent of human trafficking victims are women, 130 million girls aren't enrolled in school. It also says  that women are twice as likely to contract HIV.

While the video is called a short-film, it's still another a powerful video that matches up to an equally powerful song. By the end of the video, they ask the viewers to help them reach their "global goal" by the year 2030 by helping put an end to child marriage, providing education for all girls, ending the AIDS epidemic and ending all forms of violence toward girls and women.

Beyonce continues to use her platform to educate the masses and bring awareness to topics that concern the globe.
