It sparked one of the most furious Twitter rants we've seen all year from Kanye as he demanded an apology, spoke about threats made against his family, the Pusha-T brawl in Toronto, and more. Later that night, he said that Drake called him and made threats over the phone, adding even more drama to their feud. One person that wasn't feeling the one-sided argument was Ariana Grande as she kindly requested that Kanye take a break so that she can push her new single without it getting lost in the shuffle.
Grande was seemingly unhappy about how she wasn't the first thing on people's minds last night as Drake and Kanye's beef dominated social media until the late hours of the day. She promoted her own single and Miley Cyrus' new release as she tweeted, "guys, i know there are grown men arguing online rn but miley and i dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y'all could please jus behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that'd be so sick thank u."
An Ariana Grande single is going to get attention regardless of whether "two grown men" are arguing online. However, she still decided to step in and call a recess on the beef.
