Hmmm. Here's a story we've heard before. Andre 3000, who took the stage alongside Big Boi this past weekend for the Governors Ball in NYC, is reportedly working on new solo music.
Last year we received a similar report, however Three Stacks' rep was quick to shut it down. A rep has yet to speak up against these most recent claims of an Andre 3k solo album, but lest we say take it with a grain of salt until something more concrete and definitive comes along.
HipHopWired reports that while backstage at the Governors Ball they happened to kick it with the elusive Andre 3000 (and his son Seven Benjamin), and the rapper confirmed he was working on a solo album. When a media personality responded to Andre (as many of us probably would), "I’ll believe it when I hear it," the ATLien simply laughed and nodded his head.
Let's hope this rumored solo album doesn't have the same fate as Detox.
