When Ace Hood drops a music video, everyone EATS at once.

By penning "Practice," Ace Hood gave a well-worn idiom new life. Very few rappers have that unspoken ability to re-enliven something old and trite, but Ace ain't your average primadonna rapper. In the music video for "Practice," you get a sense Ace Hood wants to recapture the energy he galvanized during his peak commercial run.

He even quoted himself in passing, in the Twitter post commemorating the video's unveiling - with the aphoristic line, “You see what happens when you recommit.“ What else is there to say, Ace Hood is back on his grizzly, his day one fans were put on notice, leaving the late-comers to marvel at his lyrical prowess.

The music video is replete with dark tones of neon red and opaque black to suit his mood on the occasion - during the course of which, we get a minimalist account of Ace Hood moving ever so subtly so as to let his bars do the talking. That isn't to say "Practice" isn't without a few signature props: an ATV, exit signs, and a heavy chain the color of Goldust. Body Bag Vol. 5 is dropping soon, so keep it locked.
