Combat Jack is remembered by the hip-hop world.

Today, the hip-hop community was hit with some shocking news. Reggie Ossé, known by many as Combat Jack, passed away this morning, after fighting a battle with colon cancer. For anybody familiar with the man behind The Combat Jack Show, you already know that Jack was an intellectual mind and a sharp interviewer, analyzing albums with a contagious appreciation for the music. You could tell that artists enjoyed being on his show, and his seemingly endless lineup of guests is a testament to that fact.

Now, many guests and listeners from the hip-hop community have taken to Twitter to memorialize the lawyer-turned-Podcaster. As the kind words continue to pour in, do yourself a favor and go check out The Combat Jack Show. There's a strong chance he has an episode with one of your favorite artists, and his interviews are always entertaining, insightful, and respectful. The man has stories for days, and his death is a sad end to a roller-coaster of a year.

Once again, rest in peace Combat Jack. You will be missed.
