Khalid delivers two stunning acoustic performances.

Khalid deserves some praise. Not only because he possesses the holy voice of an angel, but he's also holding it down for the young artists of the world. With his debut American Teen already earning a platinum plaque, and his guest appearance on Logic's "1-800-273-8255" solidifying himself as a commercial commodity, Khalid's magnificent run continues. The singer recently stopped by the BBC Radio 1 studios for an intimate acoustic rendition of "Location," as well as a cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car."

It's always interesting to see an artist's work stripped down to the core, and hearing "Location" without the gloss of the production is a testament to how solid the songwriting actually is. While Khalid's own work deserves praise, "Fast Car" may be the highlight performance. Khalid's voice breathes new life into the tried and true classic; perhaps his future music could implement a heightened use of acoustic guitar. After all, his dulcet tones blend nicely with the warm, finger-picked guitar arrangement.

Fans of Khalid will no doubt appreciate this one, but if you're looking for something a little more on the relaxing side, give these clips a listen. Khalid continues to prove himself as one of the game's more exciting young vocalists, and it's exciting to see where he goes from here.
