Just days after hitting us with her animated video for “Spar” last week with Kodak Black & 6LACK, female Chicago spitter Dreezy decided to make her way out West and visit the LA Leakers recently, where she gifted the listeners to an on-air freestyle.
Going in over Kodak Black’s “Roll In Peace” instrumental, Dreezy murders the beat and shows off her double time rhymes scheme & slick wordplay in the process, while riding the pocket of the beat perfectly. If this was truly off the top than my God, but it almost seemed memorized, but even still that doesn't take anything away from this freestyle. This shit pretty dope.
"You don't want no smoke with me, I got niggas who blow for me/ and I was so persistent I had bitches thinking someone had wrote for me, I still whip up the pork and beans/ Im baggin’ this shit like the groceries” she spits.
Check out the 3-minute freestyle (below) and let us know what you think.
As for what’s next for Dreezy, her sophomore album is reportedly on the way, and presumably dropping in 2018. A couple weeks ago she teamed up with PnB Rock for a new song called “Can’t Trust A Soul,” which could be a taste of her upcoming album, but we'll have to wait and see.
