A Boogie made a pit stop at TRL to perform and talk his latest album.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is a refreshing voice out of New York City. Over the past year, he's emerged as one of the most promising voices in the city's hip hop scene and is continuing to prove that he has a long career ahead of him. It was only a few weeks a go when he released his debut album The Bigger Artist and has been dominating ever since. Today, he continues his domination as he paid a visit to TRL's Times Square set where he chopped it up with the hosts, had some fun with the audience and performed his two major singles, "Say A" and "Drowning."

On today's episode of TRL, they brought through A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. During the show, he not only came through for an interview but he also had some fun with his fans in the audience and performed two singles off of The Bigger ArtistDuring his appearance on the show, he played a game of "Requestions." Fans in the crowd got the chance to fire off some quick questions to A Boogie. He unveiled some interesting tidbits about himself during the segment. He said that one artist he'd like to collaborate with would be Adele and that Bruno Mars is one artist that specifically inspires him. Along with that, he also spoke to the hosts about his latest album and his upcoming tour. While he admits that the reception he's received from The Bigger Artist was exciting, he said that he's much more excited about the accompanying tour. He also spoke briefly about the video for "Drowning." The rapper said that "Being under water like that, I panicked. I really thought it was over for a minute." Afterwards, he ended up playing the single as well as doing another performance of "Say A." As you'd expect, the crowd went wild for it.

A Boogie's appearance on the show seemed appropriate considering all the success he's been receiving. After he dropped his album, it debuted at number four on the Billboard Top 200. It's a solid accomplishment for him, especially since he has a long career ahead of him and that just marks the beginning.
