DJ Fresh's esteemed Tonite Show series' latest installment is a team-up between Jay Worthy and Mitchy Slick. The 7-track features the classic West Coast grooves that have come to be associated with the projects, full of all the 808 cowbells and breezy synths you could ask for. For the most part, there are no guest appearances on the project, but one of the standout cuts features a guest appearance from HBK Gang's Iamsu.
If you like what you hear, you may want to check out G-Worthy, the supergroup made up of Jay Worthy, G Perico and Cardo, who released their self-titled mixtape last September. As far as Tonite Show projects go, there's too many to choose from, but Fresh's 2016 collaboration with Ezale is definitely worth a listen if you're a fan of this one.
