Floyd Mayweather recently admitted that he "carried" Conor McGregor during their boxing match back in August, which is in line with what longtime HBO boxing host, Jim Lampley, said in October.

Lampley told TMZ Sports that Floyd "allowed Conor to quote 'win' three rounds" just to give the MMA community "something to latch onto."

Floyd basically confirmed Lampley's thoughts in a video posted to FightHype.com. Floyd says (h/t MMAFighting),

"Everybody tried to protest the Mayweather-McGregor fight, right? But I'm gonna tell y'all the truth, I'm gonna tell y'all the truth," he said. "You know I carried McGregor. You know I made it look good for y'all."

During a lucrative trip to China last week, Mayweather mentioned that he is not plotting another fight against McGregor, or any fighter for that matter. The 40-year old champ says he's happily retired, for good, at 50-0.

In addition to his comments about the McGregor fight, Floyd also addressed Oscar De La Hoya, who recently said he'd be able to knock out the UFC champ in two rounds. Mayweather says De La Hoya is either a hypocrite or back on coke.

“Wasn't Oscar De La Hoya the same one trying to protest and stop the fight?” he quipped. “Now, he trying to fight Conor McGregor. Is he a hypocrite or is he back on coke again?”

As for McGregor, there's still no word on when he will fight again and whether or not it'll be in the octagon or a boxing ring.
