In the wave of Valentine’s Day drops, here’s one that probably flew under your radar. Marking the second year in a row and possibly sparking a new tradition, Ish Williams dropped off some new relationship-inspired tunes on the holiday in the form of his W.H.Y. (Who Hurt You?) EP, an effort that doubled as an anthology of past relationships gone wrong.
Packaged in seven tracks in total, the effort boasts production credits from the likes of Kev Rodgers and Kenif Muse, who also served as executive producer of the entire project. Wasting no time, the South Jersey-reared emcee follows up with a video for the project standout “Yes or No?” Directed by Sage English, the short cinematic clip captures Ish as he attempts to convince a potential lover of her worth.
