Dreamville rapper Cozz returned from his musical hiatus last month when he kicked off the campaign for his forthcoming album Effected, by dropping off its lead single “Questions.” Since then, the Los Angeles emcee has been busy rolling out new music just about every other week in its support, sharing “Badu” with Curren$y & “Ignorant Confidence” in the process, but while we continue to wait for a release date (which was supposed to be announced this week), Cozz decided to hit us with a dope freestyle instead.

While out West this week, Cozz decided to make his way by the Power 106 studios and bless the listeners on air with a lethal, 4-minute freestyle for the LA Leakers. No hook or funny business here, just slick referenced-bars & analogies for fans to dissect.

“Tryna double my hundred bills and double my bills/ As long as I spit dope, I got something to sell,” he spits. “Couple grams dumped on a scale, supplement fill/ I don't fuck with them pills, but I fuck ‘em and peel/ I don't cuff ‘em a lil, I don't love ‘em, Im in love with the thrill/ I don't trust them that’s what comes with a deal,” he adds.

If you’re a fan of Cozz and/or freestyles, then you definitely need to check out these set of rhymes. Hit play and let us know what you think! Look for his forthcoming album, Effected, to be coming very soon.
