Revisiting 2016’s Hamilton mixtape, Lin-Manuel Miranda decides to come through today and share a new video in its support for his NYC posse cut “ "Wrote My Way Out,” which features Nas, Dave East, & singer Aloe Blacc.
The black-and-white video features the four artists performing the record atop a New York building, while footage of kids living the NYC lifestyle appear throughout the clip.
The video is in support of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamildrops” series, which will find the Hamilton creator releasing a new piece of content every month for the rest of 2018. This video for “Wrote Me Way Out” serves as his January release, following last month’s “Ben Franklin’s Song.”
