Iggy is pursuing a new passion.

Iggy Azalea is doubling down on some recent comments she made on social media. The Sydney, Australian rap star had a bleak outlook on her upcoming album. She talked about this after hearing rumors that she was getting "bullied" out of making music. "I've always been someone who finds my joy in being creative & seeing my ideas come to life. For a long time I used music to deliver my big crazy ideas to the world."

Azalea continued, "I know a lot of people have this idea that I was 'bullied away from music' and that’s something I've always laughed at because I'd never be bullied out of anything! In fact, I'm too stubborn." However, things took a turn when Iggy said this. "That's why I want to let you know that I’m not going to finish my album. It’s been paused for a few months while I was giving direction for a different project & in truth I just haven’t felt the urge to go back to it."

Iggy Azalea Explains Where She Wants To Go With Her Life

That "different project" is a new career path. The mother and artist is looking to pursue her passion for design. There is no clear answer on what kind of design she is referring to. But, with this message, it seems that Iggy is possibly stepping away from music for good. She explained in more detail that she does not have any urge to return to the album she pushed back on. Azalea was quite candid, saying, "I feel more passionately about design and creative direction than I do about songwriting. To some of you, that's no shock to read. It shows in my work. Haha!" It sounds like she is being a good sport about all of this, which is a pleasure to see. We wish her great luck in her new endeavors.
