A highlight from OVO's final release in an already strong year.

OVO Sound has quietly had a great year of releases. DVSN's Morning After, Majid Jordan's The Space Between, PartyNextDoor's Colours 2 and Seven Days, and of course Drake's More Life, all made their way out this year, but 2017 wouldn't be complete without a project from the label's youngest signee, Roy Woods. Take Time, which has been billed as the singer-rapper's debut album was released on Friday, and it completes a strong OVO year quite well. While light on features, "Take Time," a collaboration with the like-minded 24hrs is one of the project's highlights, using a housey piano line, paired with an island-inspired drum rhythm. The highlight comes when Woods goes back and forth with a chopped up vocal sample, bringing to mind Jamie XCX, Young Thug and Popcaan's immortal "There's Gonna Be (Good Times)."

You can stream the full project, which also features guest appearances from DVSN and PnB Rock, here.

Quotable Lyrics:
Now take time off Twenty
Now take time off Twenty
Let me see you move your body
Now let me see you move your body
Take time off me, baby take time off me
It's 24hrs, and it's Roy Woods
Don't tell nobody
