Gucci Mane has been nothing short of an extremely busy man these past few weeks. Not only did he jump on the remix to WillTheRapper's track "Pull Up Hop Out," but he was also the recipient of a surprise bachelor party, courtesy of Migos' member Offset. The Droptopwop was all smiles after enjoying the night that was organized in principal by his co-star from the incredible banger "Met Gala," proving that their bond runs deeper than just supporting features on each other's songs. However, strippers and booze weren't the only things that money was being dropped on in Gucci's name this weekend - apparently, the rapper spent a small fortune copping one of the nicest chains we've seen in a very long time.
According to TMZ, La Flare reportedly dropped $500,000 on a brand-new chain that is just bathed in diamonds, giving off a shimmer that would make even the most jewelry-conscious hip-hop artist (or fan) blush a little. The craftsmanship, done up by Diamond Club Miami, is truly spectacular, with the necklace's total diamond weight of 165 carats. What makes this addition to Gucci's accessory game is the fact that the rapper designed this one himself, going with a black panther theme that features the heads of two members of the feline family on either side of the chain. I would have never pegged him to be a cat person before this, but he's clearly enough of a fan to make them the centerpiece of this gorgeous piece of bling.
Gucci's new chain is comprised of an insane amount of diamonds as well. The cats alone supposedly have 1,800 stones, while the necklace boasts an additional 2,800. Diamond Club Miami called the piece "one of the sickest [ones]" they've ever made and they're not wrong. You'll be hard-pressed to find something more over-the-top and expensive floating around the hip-hop community - well, maybe expect for Gucci's wedding invitations. That's right: he and fiancee Keyshia Ka'oir allegedly dropped $50,000 on their RSVP cards alone, which came complete with a mirrored front design and Swarovski crystals inside. It was a very special touch for those are lucky enough to be invited to what will surely be one of the biggest celebrity events of the year.
