Skippa Da Flippa delivers some heat.

Coming off the drop of his banging I'm Havin' 3, Atlanta rapper Skippa Da Flippa has come through with his brand new mixtape Flippa McFadden 2. The former Quality Control emcee seems to be hitting a stride in 2017, and while his previous mixtape was undoubtedly fire, this new one is poised to be even better. This time around, Skippa has enlisted the talents of Young Thug, Sauce Walka, OT Genesis, and former label-mate Lil Yachty. Production is handled by the usual roundup of suspects, with hard-hitting contributions from Devo, Dot N Pro, Yung Lan, Murda Beatz, Stroud, and more.

While it's unfortunate his partnership with QC ultimately didn't work out, perhaps it was for the best, as Skippa broke down the situation to XXL:

"That's always gonna be my family, but shit wasn't really working out the way it was supposed to be," he says of leaving Quality Control. "As far as business wise, shit just wasn't right. Everything I've been doing, I've been doing on my own anyway, so I can continue to do it on my own and put my name on it, create my own little lane and brand myself. Everybody knows me for my logo and my term 'havin' so I decided to just move on with that."

Songs like "Fashion Forward" (which features a nice verse from Thug), "Ghost," and "Yeah" are definitely made for the whip, with dark, 808-heavy instrumentals. The closing finds Murda Beatz coming through with some ghost-like reverse synths, over which Skippa delivers some furious flows.
