Smoke DZA is arguably one of the most underrated rappers in the game. The rapper's always been good on delivering quality rap music whenever he does drop. Over the past few months, he's been relatively silent. However, he delivered some great pieces of work this year through his projects and loose singles he's delivered. Most recently, he hopped on Griselda's and The Lox co-headlining "Key To Life" tour. He and Statik Selektah are the tour's opening acts. However, he hit Instagram once the tour started and let his fans know that he'll be dropping one new freestyle on every date of the tour that he performs. While he's currently in Philadelphia for the fifth date on the tour, he drops his freestyle over Fabolous' "Get Down Or Stay Down" produced by Jahlil Beats.

To be on tour with both Griselda and The Lox must mean you're a lyricist and Smoke DZA proves that on his latest freestyle. For a quick minute and a half, he sounds off. DZA wastes no time once the beat drops. He calls out fake thugs who just "do it for the Gram" within his first bar before making references to the work he's done on the streets. It's a dope little freestyle from DZA and is one of the stand-out ones he's dropped so far. It's a reminder as to why he's one of the most underrated in the game.

Late last year, Smoke DZA teamed up with Pete Rock for their album Don't Smoke Rock. Shortly after, DZA teamed up with producer 183RD for their mixtape Ringside 5. Both projects were testaments to his great artistry. Hopefully we receive more music from him in the near future.
