Meanwhile, iconic music producer HitBoy is coming off a studio album release, Surf or Drown, from March of this year. He has also produced a number of singles this year, collaborating with the likes of Offset, Don Tolliver, and The Alchemist. Furthermore, a video has emerged of him running into Durant. While it could have been just a chance meeting on the street, it could have been a planned link up.

Durant And Hit-Boy Hang Out
In the clip, reshared by 2cool2bl0g, Hit-Boy is seen riding up to Durant on a scooter. He hops off and greets Durant, who also greets Hit-Boy's entourage. Both men are dressed casually and each sports a bucket hat. It's unclear where the film was taken and what the two of them say to each other. However, Hit-Boy appears to say "it's my birthday", which makes sense given that the rapper and producer turned 35 on May 21.

Online commentators took the video positively. "Bro got a scooter holder 🛴" one person wrote. The comment referred to a member of Hit-Boy's entourage who grabbed his scooter as he hopped off to greet Durant. "Looking forward to hearing what beats they cook up together," wrote another, suggesting that Durant could potentially be Hit-Boy's next collaboration.
