Metro Boomin premiered a new collaboration with Don Toliver titled "Link Up" from his upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack for a Hyundai commercial that dropped on Monday. The iconic producer shared a clip from the advertisement on Twitter.

“New @SpiderVerse Hyundai commercial dropped today featuring 'Link Up' feat @DonToliver. Soundtrack dropping June 2nd featuring all original songs inspired by the film. #Metroverse,” Metro wrote to Twitter alongside the clip. He also shared a teaser of the full tracklist later in the day, describing it as the "soundtrack of the year."

Metro Boomin With 21 Savage At Coachella

In addition to handling the soundtrack to the movie, Metro Boomin will also be making a cameo appearance.  He shared a clip of his character from a new TV spot, earlier this month. Writer Phil Lord discussed the decision to bring in Metro during a post on the official Spider-Verse account. “That’s a high bar to clear,” Lord wrote. “So, for this next movie we brought in some reinforcements. This time we are working with legendary Metro Boomin. If anybody is going to be able to make something that feels like it’s Miles’ experience, that guy knows what he’s doing.”

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson. The cast features Shameik Moore in the lead role as well as Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni
Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, and more. It serves as a sequel to 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. A third film in the franchise, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, is also due out in 2024. Check out Metro Boomin's latest song for the soundtrack below.

Be on the lookout for the rest of the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack on June 2, featuring all-new original songs. The film will be hitting theaters on the same day.
