After a short stint at Iona, Pitino was offered the head coaching position with St. John's. An offer that Pitino happily accepted.

Now Ricky P is back on the scene in the Big Apple. Pitino is looking to bring St. John's back to the limelight. If any coach could pull off this challenge, it's going to be Pitino. On Sunday, Pitino was among the many in Madison Square Garden taking in the Knicks and Cavaliers playoff matchup. Before the tip, ESPN locked in on Pitino speaking to someone courtside. However, it turns out that the shot of Pitino might have been too clear. Fans discovered that Pitino was giving his cell phone number to someone at the game.
