Moreover, he has gained quite a bit of influence within the Republican party. Overall, he is someone who is extremely controversial. However, his large audience has always loved him for it. Even if he was mostly seen complaining about the promiscuity of M&M characters, he still gets a ton of clicks.
Now, however, it appears as though Tucker Carlson and Fox News are no longer an item. It was revealed by the network today that Carlson was being let go. Although, they did not provide an exact reason for his dismissal. Additionally, it was made clear that he has already hosted his last show. Subsequently, they will now be looking for someone to fill his spot. Needless to say, this is a very unexpected change given everything he has done for the network, whether good or bad.
Tucker Carlson Is Gone
According to Axios, this comes at a very interesting and peculiar time for Fox News. The network reached a massive settlement with Dominion Voting Systems worth $787 million. Numerous hosts on the network peddled the conspiracy that there was widespread election fraud in 2020. Furthermore, some claimed that the voting machines were replacing Trump votes with Biden votes. Consequently, Dominion decided to sue, and now here we are. Whether or not this had anything to do with Tucker Carlson and his dismissal, is unknown.
