Miami is far from the first celebrity Usher brought out for his Las Vegas residency. Back in March, the singer honored Queen Latifah at the event. During his first residency in the city, he also welcomed Diddy on stage. Ahead of his latest stint in Sin City, Usher spoke with BET about his love for performing in front of his fans and giving a memorable shows. “That's because of the time and passion I put into the art,” he said. “The art is the show, the music is the offering, right? Because everybody's going to interpret what I'm saying maybe a different way because of their experience or what they feel. But the art of it and the time where I get a chance to give something to people that they'll remember forever is in that moment. So that's what I love about performing live for my fans.”

As for Yung Miami, outside of performing with Usher, she's also working on new music of her own. During a new cover story for The Cut, she confirmed that a new album will be coming at some point in the summer. “Girl, I ain’t even gonna tell! I don’t know, like it is coming, and it will be sometime this summer for real, for real, for real. When you doing a project, it takes time,” she explained to the outlet. “We’re trying to sit through it and make sure that that’s what we want to put out. It’s gonna hit different.”
