Famous Dex is back with a new teaser of what looks like a new single for a possible album. Dexter took to Instagram last night commenting "3k comments I'll drop it on God!!" Moreover, the snippet lasts a little over a minute, showcasing Dex's trademark energy and catchy hooks. Although it has been a minute since we've a heard a good "Oh Gahdamn!" from Famous Dex, fans seem to be excited to get something new from the Chicago native. Fans expressed their excitement in the comments eager to hear the rest of the song. Hopefully, the traction from this snippet will motivate Famous Dex to drop some more singles or even a new tape.
It's been a while since Dexter put something fresh out for the fans. Though he did drop a tape in 2020, however, it didn't move the needle too much with fans saying this was the beginning of his falloff. While Dex has had many run-ins with the law from violating restraining orders to gun charges, it's good to see him getting back on track. Since his release from rehab after checking himself in following being released from jail, he's been doing well. Currently, he's 11 months sober and has been working on new music.
Famous Dex Previews New Music
After almost a year of sobriety, Famous Dex appears to be a changed man. Since being 11 months sober Dex announced that He, his label mate Jay Critch and Rich The Kid are working on Rich Forever Five. The Rich Forever album series are cult classics that bring the best out of all three artists. Personally Rich Forever 3 is the best, but hearing Dex and the guys are working on another one is amazing. Not only that, recently Famous Dex inked a whopping new deal after re-signing with 300 Entertainment for several million dollars.
While the "Japan" rapper has been getting his life together, fans have been waiting patiently to hear some new heat from him.
