It was also announced on Monday (April 17) that the "Creed III" actor has parted ways with his management team amid facing domestic abuse allegations.

Just a few weeks ago, Jonathan Majors was undeniably one of the most envied men in Hollywood. He was constantly gracing red carpets and magazine covers while promoting projects like Creed III and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, all while entertaining audiences with his seemingly lovable persona. Unfortunately, things all came crashing down for the actor when he was arrested in late March. At the time, he allegedly got into a physical altercation with a woman he was romantically involved with.

The entertainer's lawyers have been vehemently denying the claims coming out against him. They've even shared screenshots of messages from the rumoured victim. While Majors' legal team obviously thought they were doing him a favour, many social media users argued that the "evidence" only makes him look more guilty, if anything. Things have been relatively quiet since then. However, it was announced on Monday (April 17) that he and his management team at Entertainment 306 have decided to part ways in wake of the allegations. Aside from that, his invitation to a major upcoming event has reportedly been revoked.

As Deadline reports, the 33-year-old was expected to attend the quickly approaching Met Gala. His look for the evening – which will be an homage to the late Karl Lagerfeld – was to be designed by Valentino. They've since "mutually agreed" with Majors that his attendance is no longer a good idea. The news is certainly disappointing for both the California native and his fans. Still, an optimistic update reveals that Marvel hasn't yet had any conversations about dropping him from their cinematic universe.

The embattled star has already wrapped filming on the second season of Loki, which finds him bringing Kang the Conqueror to light. He's also been cast in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but isn't due to begin production on the project anytime soon. Are you disappointed that Jonathan Majors won't be walking down the red carpet on the first Monday in May? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.
