Instagram took down a post from Ice Spice because she used her real name.

Instagram took down a post from Ice Spice, this week, that featured the rapper's real name, Isis. She complained about the move from the social media platform on Instagram, earlier this week. "Ayo Isis," the original post read with an eyes emoji. "Can't type my name is ode," Ice Spice wrote while sharing the news on her Instagram Story.

As for Instagram's explanation, the site shared the following message with Ice: "It goes against our Community Guidelines on violence or dangerous organizations. Our guidelines encourage people to express themselves in a way that's respectful to everyone. If you think we made a mistake, you can ask us to review our decision." They clearly mistook Ice Spice's use of her own name for that of the infamous terrorist group of the same name.

They also cited examples of the types of content they typically remove. They listed "Photos or videos of extreme graphic violence," as well as "Photos or videos that encourage violence or attacks on anyone based on their religious, ethnic or sexual background," and "Specific threats of physical harm, theft, vandalism or financial harm."

Ice Spice's original post featured a picture from the music video to her song, "Princess Diana (Remix)," featuring Nicki Minaj. The original track was featured on Ice's debut EP, Like..?, back in January. The remix is the second that Ice Spice has worked on this year, following her appearance on PinkPantheress' “Boys a Liar Pt. 2.” That song earned the young New York rapper her first top three song on the Billboard Hot 100. Ice Spice is undoubtedly hoping for similar success with her latest remix.

Of working on the track, Nicki wrote on Twitter over the weekend, "GM guys. This song has recently been proven by an independent study to increase your dopamine leading to a better quality of life- curing anxiety & depression within the first 90 mins they said."
