LA Premiere Of HBO's "Euphoria" - Arrivals

With the idea of retirement on his mind, it looks like Drake might be leaning into the television and film world even more. This week, Hulu announces Saint X will debut next month. Drake and Future The Prince serve as executive producers of the psychological thriller based on a book by  Alexis Schaitkin. The show follows the story of a young woman’s mysterious death that leads to a domino effect on her sister’s mission to uncover the truth. Dees Rees will also direct the show, along with serving as the executive producer.

Saint X stars Alycia Dabnam-Carey of the Fear Of The Walking Dead game, along with West Chovny, who stars as Alison. The show also stars Josh Bonzie as Clive “Gogo” Richardson and Jayden Elijah as Edwin. The first three episodes of Saint X debut on April 29th, 2023. The remaining five episodes will roll out on a weekly basis after that. Drake hasn’t made any specific mentions of his involvement recently, though it seems like he might have another hit show to add to his extensive television resume. We’ll have to wait until the end of April to see if it will live up to the hype.

Drake’s New Show Saint X Heads To Hulu

Drake’s expansion into the world of television proved to be incredibly successful so far. Top Boy on Netflix earned several nominations at the 2023 BAFTA Awards this year. Jasmine Jobson and Saffron Hocking earned nominations in the Supporting Actress category for their incredible performances in season 2. With the next season slated to be the last, we could only imagine that Drake and the rest of the Top Boy crew are hoping to go out with a bang.

Additionally, Drake’s also had great success with HBO’s Euphoria. Zendaya’s performance as Rue, and the introduction of Angus Cloud, among other factors, turned the HBO series into one of the most celebrated teen series. Though it faced plenty of controversy over the years, fans still anticipate its return in 2024. We’ll keep you posted on more information regarding Saint X as it emerges. Will you be tuning in?
