Jamaican dancehall star Spice just clarified that she's not pregnant and addressed her battle with sepsis. Of course, these are two issues in pretty different areas, but she shared her thoughts candidly with fans via an Instagram live session. Moreover, this follows some recent music releases like her recent 2022 album, Emancipated, and a run of success. Also, this clarification comes after an IG post where she posed with a full belly and baby carriage. According to her testimony, she meant to represent a new phase in her life with that post.

"Yeah man, so, big up to Father God, big up to Jesus," she began. "He literally gave me a new life and that's what I'm celebrating, that's all it is. It was never intentionally done for the picture to offend anyone. So if it did offend anyone, then I apologize and I'm sorry if it offended you. But it was never about anything or anyone. Any woman that can't get pregnant, I sympathize. I have friends and family that went through different things. Miscarriages, infertility- all of that. But it was never about that. It was just about celebrating my new life, giving God glory, giving God thanks for this new life. For this new journey. It's like a rebirth. I'm a brand new person, I feel rejuvenated."

Spice Denies Being Pregnant Despite Suggestive Instagram Post

Meanwhile, fans expressed concern as 2022 ended because of Spice's rumored complications from BBL surgery. The 40-year-old previously shut down said allegations, although she just detailed her hospitalization after months of little updates. Moreover, she said that during her trip to the Dominican Republic to change breast implants, she consulted doctors concerning fibrosis in her stomach. After a successful surgery, she fell ill while enjoying the remainder of her vacation. Following that, doctors found a hernia in her side that ruptured her intestines and caused septic shock in her body.

After four months in the hospital and multiple surgeries, it seems like she's doing much better. In fact, that context adds to the IG post in question, as she has something else to be thankful for. If you're interested in her full testimony, check out some highlight clips down below. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Spice.
