6lack is finally inching toward his next studio album, titled, Since I Have a Lover. We’ve been at the edge of our seats waiting for his next project, especially since it's been nearly four years since East Atlanta Love Letter. Though his last album emerged shortly after the success of his platinum-certified, Free 6lack, he’s taken his time with this one. With the exception of 6pc Hot EP, he hasn’t released much music. However, he’s coming just in time for the spring.

Over the course of the past few weeks, he’s unloaded a handful of singles in anticipation of Since I Have A Lover. After plastering Billboards across the A with the album’s acronyms, he dropped the titular track. Then, he shared “A Letter To My Fans” and “Talkback.” Though he hasn’t dropped the tracklist yet, the past two singles indicate that he has something incredibly special for us when Since I Have A Lover arrives on March 24th.

6lack Shares A Tragic Love Story On “Fatal Attraction”

This week, 6lack shared his latest record, “Fatal Attraction.” The ATL singer gets into his rap-sing bag on this one as he flows effortlessly over production handled by Dos Dias, Dylan Wiggins, Fwdslxsh, and Khris Reddick. As the soft keys strike, he dives into a tale of love and heartbreak – the end of a honeymoon phase and the highs and lows of any relationship.

With 6lack’s new album officially due out next Friday, it feels like “Fatal Attraction” could be his final offering before the project’s release. However, we suspect that a tracklist will come shortly. Perhaps, we’ll see him collaborate with a few of his LVRN labelmates. For now, we’ll have “Fatal Attraction” on repeat. Check his new song above and sound off in the comments with your thoughts. Do you think 6lack will have the R&B album of the year with Since I Have A Lover?

Quotable Lyrics
You been through too much, and you don’t need no more
The help I get is gold, C-3PO
It might be fatal, but I’m hooked on it
Gotta write a book on it, lovin’ when you shook on it
