Youngboy Never Broke Again has been on a pretty meteoric & turbulent path to success over the past year or so. From getting released from jail in May following charges of attempted first-degree murder in November 2016 to releasing his AI Youngboy project in August, the fast-rising Baton Rouge rapper has quickly become one of the most polarizing and hottest new rappers coming out of the South right now.
Having been featured on recent tracks from Kodak Black, A Boogie Wit a Hoodie, & E-40 to name a few, NBA Youngboy has been on a tear this Summer feeding the streets with new music, and thankfully he doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon either. Just a couple weeks ago, the Baton Rouge rapper announced that he has another project on the way called Broken Hearted, which is expected to arrive sometime today (9-20), but that doesn't look like that’s going be the case anymore. So to hold us over, the rising Louisiana rapper decides to come through in the meantime and share another new song and accompanying video instead called “Confidential,” just like he did with last week’s “Ride” release.
Aimed at the streets, NBA Youngboy switches up his flows and shows off his rapid fire bars & melodic vocals, while rapping about the shooters & life in the streets in the process. As for the video itself, it features a cameo from Moneybagg Yo, as the two partake in a home invasion, dice game and mob outside the crib with the homies in this Cody Coyote Films-presented clip above.
