Karl Malone made some interesting comments to the media.

Karl Malone is currently under the microscope thanks to the fact that he was invited by the league to the NBA All-Star weekend. For many, his inclusion in All-Star weekend was fairly ridiculous. Of course, this is due to the fact that he impregnated a 13-year-old when he was in college. Overall, Malone was 20 at the time, and people feel as though he should not be allowed anywhere near the league. However, the league still invited him out, which was a shock to many people.

Typically, Malone is someone who keeps a low profile. Given this information, the NBA was expected to pass over him despite the All-Star weekend taking place in Utah. Now, however, the NBA has opened up a can of worms by brining Malone into the fold. As one can imagine, many questions are being asked right now. Furthermore, Malone's past is being spoken about in-depth when it used to just be a footnote.

However, Malone has made it clear that he does not care what people think of him. In a new report from the Salt Lake City Tribune, Malone was asked about the backlash surrounding him. Simply put, Malone has no interest in talking about his past. “I’m not discussing any of that. I don’t care,” Malone said matter-of-factly. “That’s my life, it’s my personal life, and I’ll deal with that like I’ve had to deal with everything. So… whatever.” Basically, fans can expect to never hear from Malone on this pressing issue, pretty much ever.

Malone is someone who will continue to be hated over this topic, and it is easy to see why. His past actions are absolutely deplorable, and it makes no sense that the NBA allowed him back into their fraternity. That said, perhaps the league will learn its lesson in the future.
