Aaron Rodgers is an interesting guy.

Aaron Rodgers is certainly one of the most interesting players in the entire NFL. Overall, the 39-year-old has fancied himself a unique thinker. One could even make the claim that he is exactly like the Kyrie Irving of the NFL. However, Rodgers typically plays when asked, so right there you have a difference between the two. Either way, Rodgers has been known to do things that go against the grain. It's something he prides himself on, and that will not change anytime soon.

Now, Rodgers is in the offseason and he has a big decision to make. As it stands, it looks like the Green Bay Packers want to trade him. However, Rodgers has yet to say whether or not he wants that. Instead, he has been adamant that he is simply taking his time to make a decision. In fact, on The Pat McAfee Show today, Rodgers made a very surprising revelation.

Aaron Rodgers To Consume The Darkness

As you can see in the clip above, Rodgers is claiming that he has plans to do an "Isolation Retreat." Essentially, these retreats put you in a house filled with complete darkness and no distractions. "You're not locked in. You can leave. If you can't do it, you can just walk out the door. But, it's a darkness retreat," Rodgers said. "I've had a number of friends who have done it and had some profound experiences and it's something that's been on my radar for a few years now and I felt like it'd be awesome to do regardless of where I was leaning after this season. So, it's been on the calendar for months and months and months. And it's coming up in a couple weeks."

Rodgers made sure to say that if you are feeling too anxious, you can choose to leave the house. However, it is clear that Rodgers has every intention of completing this new mission. Only time will tell whether or not it gives him the answers he is so desperately looking for. Let us know where you would like to see Rodgers play, in the comments below.
