A$AP Rocky clarifies when his album, "LongLiveA$AP," will be dropping. He says the September 11th release date was a joke.

The other day we reported the release date for A$AP Rocky's album LongLiveA$AP to be September 11th, as Rocky had announced this during a recent interview. However, now Rocky tells the Source the September 11th date was a joke.

In a video interview, Rocky retracts the September 11th drop date, and says it will likely be released near the end of September.

"Uh, it's not September 11th," he says in the video, "I was joking the other day, it's September though, but the thing is I do what I want."

On what dates he's actually looking to release the album, Rocky says "I'm looking at like, the 20th to the 23rd [of September]."

Watch the full interview clip below, where A$AP Rocky also talks on who was his favorite person to work on his album with, linking up with Lana del Rey, his documentary and more.
