The opening track from Su's entirely self-produced project.

"3 tapes, 6 months / Who I gotta wait for?"

As he reminds us on the opening track, Boss Up 3, is the third installment in a series which began in February. This time around, Iamsu! has supplied the production on each of the songs himself, and "My First Rack" finds him off to a blazing start as both a vocalist and beatmaker. From the jump, he makes it clear that his music speaks for itself. No interviews. No interludes. Just "straight runs." The 6-song project comes off as just that, with no time or energy being wasted and only space for a few well-selected guests.

It's a reminder that HBK's formula is as effective as ever, and serves as a great compliment not only to Su's previous installments but to P-Lo's More Than Anything album, which stands as one of the year's most underrated releases.

Quotable Lyrics:
No interview
'Cause I'm the one who get the job done
No interludes on my tapes
Give 'em straight runs
Please tell me
Where were you when I was dead broke?
They tried to kill my confidence
I kept my head low
I got my city on my back like a Jansport
You niggas couldn't catch my drift
Ain't got the hands for it
