It was just last month that a lawsuit disrupted the distribution of the late Prince‘s posthumous Deliverance EP.

It seems now that those legal woes are beginning to wrap up as today, we’re treated to two previously unreleased tracks from the late pop star’s catalog, courtesy of his former label Warner Bros.

The new tunes, “Our Destiny” and “Roadhouse Garden” will reportedly appear on the forthcoming Purple Rain Deluxe and Purple Rain Deluxe – Expanded Edition albums.

The songs have apparently been around for decades, with reports claiming that they were often performed during Prince‘s shows in the late 1980s.

Both songs were recorded live in concert with The Revolution, and almost made the cut for Prince’s 1985 Around the World In a Day release.

Quotable Lyrics

Look, I’m not saying let’s get married or nothin’
I’m not ready to settle down
And I don’t want to have your baby
I’m just saying you gotta be the finest specimen I’ve ever seen.
